Photovoltaic ventilated facade

Photovoltaic facades are a product designed for a wide range of recipients. One of them are private investors who want to use the potential of facades to produce green energy in their homes.

The example of our investment in Krakow shows that it is possible and, importantly, confirms that photovoltaic panels can increase the modern value of the building.

The presented project is an installation in the form of a photovoltaic ventilated facade on the facade of a single-family building. The investor’s idea for installing panels on the facade arose already at the construction stage, which made it possible to properly plan the implementation. Before installing the insulation layer, mounting consoles were mounted to the wall, and rear mounting profiles were attached to the photovoltaic panels (using structural bonding technology). Due to this, a uniform surface effect was achieved, without visible mounting elements. The facade consists of 16 photovoltaic panels, which are tailor-made to fill the southern wall of the building.

Photovoltaic panels in the form of frameless glass-glass laminate, made of tempered glass and monocrystalline photovoltaic cells. Black tinted rear glass.

Total photovoltaic installation capacity: 6,24 kWp
Total area of photovoltaic panels: 40 m2
Number of photovoltaic panel formats: 1

Photovoltaic ventilated facade

One of the key advantages of BIPV installations (building-integrated photovoltaics) compared to traction photovoltaic installations is the possibility of integrating them into the existing building construction.
